Standard Logitech shifter not recognized by game. I recently had to replace my G27 wheel and shifter after losing it in a fire. I recently received a new G29 wheel plus a standard Logitech shifter. My problem is that the shifter doesn't seem to work with the game at all. I cannot program it to even work in real automatic transmission let alone So is there anyway to make it work :Question_m: If you don't have the H-shifter the only way is to use automatic gear. that will work for you. im not sur if you can map some bottoms on the Keyboard to shift gear. but i don't hink you can. I use a G27 where the h-shifter is with the wheel when you buy it back then many years ago.
What kind of shifter layout are you using? The game offers several layouts modeled after real truck shift patterns. I think I use the ZF 16-speed layout because it's most similar to the Eaton-Fuller layout I use in ATS, but whichever layout you use will vary depending on your preference and also the type of transmission you have in your truck.
